| Nancy Webb:
(from Baltimore-Washington Conference) It is with heavy hearts and blessed assurance of our hope in Christ that we share news of the passing of retired Elder, the Rev. Nancy Webb. Rev. Webb died quietly on September 16, 2024, at an area hospital. She had been at a rehabilitation facility following a medical incident this past spring. She will be remembered for her strong advocacy and passion for social justice, her deep sense of connectionalism, and her kind spirit. Rev. Nancy was a leader and advocate for disability ministries and social justice. She served previously on the Association of Ministers with Disabilities, the Commission on Disability Concerns, and other boards and committees. Nancy will be remembered as a disability ministry leader. Here's a video from earlier this year that shares her clergy bio. |
